General information:

The GHS-J is a database of GHS classification results by the Japanese government since 2006. This database includes GHS classification guidance by the Japanese government and classification results (classification, symbol, signal word and hazard statement) in accordance with the guidance, etc. These classification are an advisory classification and intended to be used as reference for preparing GHS labelling and SDS by enterprises.

No queries are possible on this site. Each classification result is available for download as an excel format.

National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) maintains the content of the GHS-J.
